Guidelines for Preparation Tax Assistants Exam

Tax Assistants Exam is conducted by Staff Selection Commission of India for the recruitment of various departments of Central Government. Candidates who are successful in the written test and interview may get job in Commercial audit, Group-B non-Gazetted officer's rank that comes under the Union Government.

Structure and Pattern of the SSC Tax Assistants Exam: In Tax Assistants Exam there is an objective type test that consists of two sections. The first part comprises of English language, grammar and comprehension questions.

In the second part, there will be questions on general awareness and arithmetic. Each part will be for 100 marks. The time duration of the test is 2 hours each.

Qualification norms for SSC Tax Assistants Exam: Indian citizens are eligible to apply for this examination. Candidates must have graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized University. They should also have computer expertise with data entry speed of 8000 key depressions per hour on computer. They should be within the age group of 20 - 27 years. Reserved category applicants may get advantage of relaxations in age as per the Government rule.

Application Procedure for SSC Tax Assistants Exam:

Applicants must regularly read employment news or leading newspapers as exam notification is published in these papers. When they see published notification of this post, aspirants must complete application forms in the prescribed format. Applicants must also affix passport size photographs in the appropriate columns of the forms. After duly filling the forms, they should send via registered post to staff selection commission, New Delhi before the last date.

There is also an option to fill the form online. Aspirants can submit the online forms by logging on to the SSC official website: - http://ssc.nic.in and follow the set of instructions given there. They will receive admit card from SSC to appear in the exam.
