Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service Examination

The Union Public Service commission (UPSC) conducts Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service Examination every year to recruit Grade IV officers to be placed in the Planning Commission, Planning Board, Ministry of Economic Affairs, National Sample Survey and other Allied Offices where Experts in Economics and Statistics are required.

Shortly known as IES/ISS, Indian Economic/Statistical Service offers a very attractive opening with the Indian Government establishments to graduates of the streams Economics and Statistics.

Important Dates

UPSC conducts the Indian Economic/Statistical Services Exam generally in the month of November.
Notification of the Examination commences in the month of June.
