Section Officer (Audit) & (Commercial) Examination

The Staff Selection Commission employ group 'B' non gazetted posts and non-technical group 'C' posts in Departments/Ministries, the subordinate offices of the Government, the C.A.G and in the offices of the Accountant General.

Section Officer (Audit) and Section Officer (Commercial) examinations comprises of written examination and interview to fill the posts.

Section Officers are mainly recruited for Accountant General Offices located in different parts of country.

Pattern for SSC Section Officer Audit Exam: The exam is conducted in two phases written and interview.

Paper I of the written exam has two parts. Part A is English Language which is objective type.Question in this test are designed in the categories of the error recognition, fill in the blanks (using verbs, prepositions), articles, vocabulary, spell in sequence of sentence in a paragraph, sequence of words in a sentence, close passage and comprehension passage, synonyms and antonyms. This paper carries a total of 100 marks. Candidates can prepare study material from 12th level text books.
