Dy. General Manager (Risk Management) 50 Years 12 – 15 years in Banking with 5 years in Risk management department, of which 2 years as Executive in Risk Management. Post Graduate preferably Mathematics / Statistics or Any C A, ICWAI or Engineering Graduate with FRM Qualification or PG/ Diploma course on Risk Management. CAIIB is desirable.
Dy. General Manager (Chief Economist) 35 – 50 Years 12 – 15 years overall with 5 years experience in Banking. Doctorate or PG in Economics & MBA Finance – CAIIB Desirable
Dy. General Manager (Training) 50 Years Minimum 20 years of Banking exp of which at least 5 years as Branch Head and at least 5 years as Faculty in the Training Department of the Bank MBA, PhD in any area in HR
Asst. General Manager (IT) 35 – 45 Years 10 – 12 years. The candidates should preferably have worked in the capacity of Asst. General Manager/ Chief Manager in IT Division of the Bank for a minimum period of 2 years in a Scheduled Commercial Bank or in a large organization having ERP and other applications with concurrent user base of minimum 10000. Candidate worked in Iflex Platform will be preferred. BE / B.Tech Additional qualifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, Project Management Certification, MBA-IT/ Systems, will be given preference/ weightage.
Asst. General Manager (Law) 35 – 45 Years 10 – 12 years. Must have worked in the Commercial Banks/Financial Institutions etc., in Law Department/ Recovery Department and handled related works for minimum 4 years. Practice as advocate will be an added advantage. Post graduate/ graduate in Law. Qualification as a Company Secretary would be an added advantage.
Chief Manager (Corporate Communication) 35 - 45 Years Candidate shall have good liaison with Press, Media, Ad Agencies and have vision for image building of the Bank and shall have innovation to contribute for image building. Working experience for a minimum period of 07 years in Public Sector Banks or in a leading Private Sector Banks in officer cadre/ leading Financial Institution of National level/ Public Sector Undertaking, for a minimum period of 7 years. Degree in Mass Communication/ Journalism from a recognized University. Candidates with MBA qualification will be given preference.

Job Profile

Dy. General Manager (Risk Management)

  1. Formulate, Design and implement an overall risk management process in the organization.
  2. Establish & Quantify the risk level i.e. the level of risk the organization is prepared to accept.
  3. Assist with policies, manuals & internal documentation as well as management models pertaining to credit.

Dy. General Manager (Chief Economist)

  1. Formulate long term / medium term plans, business strategies & profitability plans.
  2. Forecasting indicators like inflation, interest rates, IIP, etc and providing inputs to top management.
  3. Conduct high quality research along with stress tests & sensitivity analysis.

Dy. General Manager (Training)

  1. Ensure preparation of annual expenditure budget and its management.
  2. Authorise expenditure as per the norms laid down in this regard.
  3. Ensure that the infrastructure available functions smoothly and overall discipline is maintained.
  4. Ensure that proper faculty is arranged as per the needs of the programme.

Asst. General Manager (Information Technology)

  1. Plan IT Strategy, Provide Business Solutions, Project Planning & Execution, Application Design & Development.
  2. Multilocation IT Data Centre Management, IT Security, IT Risk Compliance and Governance.

Asst. General Manager (Law)

  1. Responsible for of all types of Legal Matters, Handle matters filed against the Bank.
  2. Attending Courts, Tribunals, Statutory Bodies, Managing Advocates and maintaining Legal MIS.

Chief Manager (Corporate Communication)

  1. Develop & Implement an Integrated Communication Plan to aid the Reputation Management Initiatives of the Bank.
  2. Develop & Maintain Key Stakeholders Relations (KSR) strategy in support of the organization.
  3. Exigency / Crisis Management through interventions at ground level by ensuring effective Media Management & Legal Support.

IBPS Common Exams for all the Banks

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is an autonomous body in India, which started its operation in 1975 as Personnel Selection Services (PSS). With its Head Office is Mumbai, IBPS mainly focuses on Bank Recruitment. In 2011, IBPS announced a Common Written Examination (CWE) for the recruitment of officers and clerks in in Indian Public Sector banks. It is now mandatory for anyone who seeks an employment in 29 public sector and regional rural banks to take Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS). IBPS periodically accepts exam applications from candidates at their website, https://www.ibps.in. The exams are organized in online mode at various locations in the country. After passing the online test successful candidates have to go through an interview process. It is on the basis of the interview, candidates are placed in regional rural banks and public sector banks.
