Repco Bank set up by the Government of India is a fast growing organisation having branches in all the four southern states and Pondicherry.

RHFL is a subsidiary of Repco Bank. Senior IAS Officers from Central and State Governments and Financial Experts are on the Board.

The Salary structure of the bank is same as that of Nationalised banks. Repco Bank proposes to fill up vacancies through Bank´s selection process.

Successful candidates in excess of requirement of Bank will be offered an appointment in RHFL

Eligibility Criteria

  • Nationality: Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
  • Educational Qualification: Degree/Post graduate degree from a recognised University with Minimum of 60% marks
  • Professional Knowledge: Candidate should be familiar with computer and its usage.
  • Local Language Knowledge: Candidates should be proficient with one of the local languages in South India where the bank has Branches.
  • Minimum 21 years to Maximum 30 years
  • Relaxable upto 5 years for SC, ST and Repatriate candidates ,3 years for OBC candidates and 3 years for Ex- servicemen- Maximum age upto 35 years.
  • Candidates already working in a Scheduled Bank will be given age relaxation equal to their duration of service in the bank, but subject to a maximum of 3 years.

Reservation

  • Reservation for SC/ST/OBC are applicable as per Government guidelines
  • 3% of posts are reserved for Persons with Disabilities in accordance with Section 33 of Persons with Disabilities (equal opportunity in protection of Rights and Full Participation), Act 1995(i.e. VH 1%, HH 1% and OH 1%)

Examination Centre And Date Of Examination

  1. The Written Examination will be an ON-LINE Examination. The ON-LINE TEST will be held on a Sunday in July 2015 at CHENNAI.The following centers will also be considered, if sufficient number of candidates register at the places:Coimbatore, Trichy, Madurai,Vijayawada, Bangalore and Trivandrum
  2. Details regarding examination and venue will be given in the call letter.
  3. Candidates will have to make their own arrangements for taking the Written Examination.

Note

  1. Request for change of Centre of Examination shall NOT be entertained.
  2. Bank reserves the right to cancel any of the centres and/or add some other centres, depending upon the response, administrative feasibility, etc. Bank also reserves the right to allot the candidate to any of the centres other than the one he/she has opted for.
  3. Candidates from stations outside Chennai may indicate the choice of the alternate Centre.Call Letters are likely to be dispatched by the last week of June 2015. The Date of Examination, venue, the time schedule etc will be put on the Bank´s Website as soon as these are finalized. Please visit the Bank´s website for this purpose.

How To Apply

  1. Candidates who satisfy the eligibility norms should submit their application in Bio – data form in English; typed on thick A4 size sheet, with one recent passport size photograph affixed on the application on the top right hand corner and indicating prominently in Bold letter the post for which he is applying at the Top. The format of the Application Form will be available at Bank´s Web-site-www.repcobank.co.in
  2. The Bio-data should include 1. Name, 2. Address for communication, 3. Date of Birth, 4. Category whether SC / ST / OBC / Repatriate / others 5. Educational Qualifications with percentage of Marks obtained, 6. Name of the centre where he wants to take examination, 7. Name of the post.
  3. Application along with other requirements as stated above should be sent to The Joint General Manager (HRD) Repco Bank Ltd., P.B.No.1449, Door No.33 North Usman Road, T.Nagar, Chennai – 600 017 so as to reach before 15-06-2015.

REPCO BANK reserves its right to reject an application, before, during or after examination, if found not to satisfy any of the recruitment / eligibility criteria.

IBPS Common Exams for all the Banks

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is an autonomous body in India, which started its operation in 1975 as Personnel Selection Services (PSS). With its Head Office is Mumbai, IBPS mainly focuses on Bank Recruitment. In 2011, IBPS announced a Common Written Examination (CWE) for the recruitment of officers and clerks in in Indian Public Sector banks. It is now mandatory for anyone who seeks an employment in 29 public sector and regional rural banks to take Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS). IBPS periodically accepts exam applications from candidates at their website, https://www.ibps.in. The exams are organized in online mode at various locations in the country. After passing the online test successful candidates have to go through an interview process. It is on the basis of the interview, candidates are placed in regional rural banks and public sector banks.
