This page gives information regarding the TOEFL Test pattern in India. For many years the TOEFL Exam in India is offered as TOEFL CBT i.e. TOEFL Computer Based Test. But after September 30, 2006, the computer-based version of the TOEFL test (TOEFL CBT) will no longer be offered. The TOEFL program is phasing in the Internet-based version of the TOEFL test - TOEFL iBT. In areas where TOEFL iBT is not yet available, the paper-based version of the TOEFL i.e. TOEFL PBT will be offered to continue to provide access for TOEFL test takers in these areas.
TOEFL CBT scores are valid for two years from the administration date. During this period you can send your TOEFL CBT score report to the institutions of your choice.
