   About School: On April 19 th 1865 , in a house on High Grounds ( later known as "Westward Ho") the school for Boys and Girls was opened as a foundation and connected to the Church of England for the education of the European and Eurasian Community of Bangalore and its neighbourhood., through the efforts of the Rev. J. Gordon, R.Firth and S.T. Pettigrew , Chaplains of Bangalore. It took the honoured name of Bishop Cotton of Calcutta, for it was established in connection with a sheme of education which Bishop Cotton had originated. The heraldic shield of Bishop Cotton , became the Shield of the School. The Rev. S.T. Pettigrew, who had taken a prominent part in starting the school was appointed as the first Secretary of the Board of Governers of this School.

   About School: Founded in the year 1904 by the Jesuit priests of St.Ignatius of Loyola and situated in the heart of Bangalore ,the Silicon Valley of India, St. Joseph's Indian High School is renowned for its reputation of stressing moral values and character development in its students, alongwith a sound background in High School education. The school is acredited by the Karnataka State Government's Secondary Education Board. The school curriculum is based on the pattern prescribed by the State Secondary Education Board of the Karnataka State.    About School: BALDWINS is one of the most prestigious schools in Bangalore, India. Founded by the British in the late Nineteenth century (1880), it is managed by the Methodist Church of Bangalore. It is one of the oldest school in the city and one of the largest, with a student population of more than two thousand. The school has both a primary and a high school section and has more recently added a junior college to it. Baldwins also has a girls school located not so far from the boys school. The high school is affiliated to the Indian Council for Secondary Education and has had an extremely good track record in the All-India ICSE examinations. It is located in the heart of the city of Bangalore on the Hosur Road, quite close to the famous Brigade road. It prides itself of a very well kept campus and also provides hostel facilities to students not native of Bangalore.    About School: Bangalore International School began in May 1969 as an elementary school with 17 students. It was started for the dependents of US employees working in Bangalore. In March 1970, the school moved to a rented premises on Millers Road and was called “The American Community School”. Later in June 1980 the school was renamed as “Bangalore International School”. In 2001 the school has moved into new large and spacious premises on the outskirts of Bangalore close to the Ring road.
