J.N.Tata Endowment Scholarship

J.N. Tata Endowment Loan Scholarships are offered for higher studies abroad in Technology, the Sciences and the Humanities. Selected scholars will also qualify for the scholarships.

Eligibility Conditions

Those who are in the final year of the degree course are also eligible. However, their selection will be conditional to a good performance at the final degree examination. Academics and Professionals in Medicine, Law and other fields as well as Officers of the I.A.S. and other Executives, with creditable academic records, going abroad for specialized qualifications, may also apply. Special weightage is given to students from the under privileged sections of society, especially from the rural areas. Candidates are expected to have applied for admission to Universities after when they apply for the Loan Scholarship. They may be interviewed before the admission comes through but, their final selection is subject to their securing admission.
