Syllabus Of RPF Sub Inspectors Examination


The exam syllabus is the most important section for the aspirants seeking to write RPF exams. Candidates can carry out reading subject wise syllabus for every posts. According to the official announcement around millions of candidates will give the written test and physical test. So candidates need to check the post details in the below for exam details.

Recruitment Procedure

The recruitment shall be held in three phases,

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Eligibility criteria for the candidates will be determined after the outcome of PET (Physical Efficiency Test). 1500 meter running test will conducted and qualified candidates will be allowed to next stage where, their chest and height will be measure. The candidates fulfilling the prescribed physical standards, will be subjected to other tests.

RPF Sub Inspector Exam Pattern

The exam is of Objective type i.e it consists of Multiple Choice Questions. The exam is conducted for a total of 200 Marks. Duration of the exam is 2 Hours. There will be 200 questions asked from various subjects. There will be negative marking for every wrong answer.

The syllabus for recruitment to the posts of SI(Prosecution ) and Inspector (Prosecution) shall be, Part-I :General Knowledge & Mental ability (30 Marks), Part II : Law (Cr.P.C IPC Evidence Act: Constitution of India, C.P.C and other acts related to RPF/Railways)

RPF Constable Exam Pattern

The Railway Protection Force Constable Exam consists of the following features:

The exam is of Objective type i.e it consists of Multiple Choice Questions. The exam is conducted for a total of 200 Marks. Duration of the exam is 2 Hours. There will be 150 questions asked from various subjects. There will be negative marking for every wrong answer. Moreover, the exam also consists of Essay Writing which is conducted for 50 marks.
