South Central Railway invited applications for various recruitment posts 2014-15. The candidates eligible for the post can apply through prescribed format before 26th November 2016.

The South Central Railway is one of the 16 railway zones in India. It is headquartered at Secunderabad. It was created on 2 October 1966 as the ninth zone of Indian Railways.

Vacancy Details

  • Technical Grade-III (Signal) : 10 Vacancies
  • Technical Grade-II (Signal) : 12 Vacancies
  • Ticket Examiner : 30 Vacancies
  • Goods Guard : 76 Vacancies
  • Assistant Station Master : 92 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

  • General Candidates age will be 42 years as on 1st January 2017.
  • OBC Candidates age will be 45 years as on 1st January 2017.
  • SC/ST Candidates age will be 50 years as on 1st January 2017.

Educational Qualification

  • Ticket Examiner : Candidate should be passed Class 12th examination or its equivalent with at least 50 per cent marks.
  • Assistant Station Master : Candidate should be obtained Graduation degree from a renowned University.

Examination Fee

Unreserved and OBC candidate need to pay application fee of Rs. 40/- in the form of crossed Indian Postal Order (IPO) drawn in favour of FA&CAO, South Central Railway payable at Secunderabad/Hyderabad.

SC/ST/Women /Minority candidates/Economically Backward Classes are exempted from payment of fee.

Pay Scale

Technical Grade-III (Signal) & Ticket Examiner : INR 5,200/- to INR 20,200/- plus INR 1,900/- Grade Pay

Technical Grade-II (Signal) : INR 5,200/- to INR 20,200/- plus INR 2,400/- Grade Pay

Goods Guard & Assistant Station Master : INR 5,200/- to INR 20,200/- plus INR 2,800/- Grade Pay

Selection Procedure

Candidates will be selected on the basis of the Written Test will be the criteria for their hiring.
