Selection Procedure and Examination

The selection procedure through examination is purely based on written test to adjudge the professional ability, viva voce and assessment of record of service. These are rendered by selection committee. The marks allotted and qualifying marks are given below.

Prescribed Papers Maximum Marks Qualifying Marks Remarks
One paper on professional subject and Establishment and Financial Rules 150 90 Out of 150 marks the professional subject will carry at least 100 marks. 10% of the total marks allotted for testing the professional ability should set apart for question on official language policy an official language rules, however, such question(s) should not be compulsory.

Record of service and Viva-Voce

Maximum Marks Qualifying Marks
Viva-Voce 25 30
Record of service 25 (including at least 15 marks in record of service)
