As many as 10,09,347 aspirants have applied for Teacher Eligibility Test (Uttar Pradesh) to be held on 15 October.
Admit cards for the test will be released upbasiceduboard.gov.in. Authorities have also rejected 32,587 applications, so 9.76 candidates will be appearing for the UPTET. Among the selected applicants, 3.4 lakh have applied for primary teaching and 6.27 lakh have applied for higher primary. According to the authorities , exam will be held in 75 districts. Beside, teachers who have been demanding permanent jobs will be allowed to appear for Teachers Eligibility Test (TET). Those who qualify will become eligible for the post of teachers.
Keys to the questions will be released two days after the exam (October 17) and the candidates can raise and submit their objections by October 21. The result declaration date is yet to be announced. Authorities will be conducting the exams in two parts — for teachers of classes 1 to 5 and for those of classes 6 to 8. Exam will be based on Objective type questions.
