LIC Development Officers' ExamLIC Development Officers Examination is conducted by the Life Insurance Corporation of India to recruit candidates for the position of the Development Officers who belong to the class II officer category. The responsibility of these Development Officers of LIC of India is mainly to take the in-charge of their territory for the development of insurance policies. Their responsibilities include marketing & procurement of business, training of agents, meeting prospective clients, promoting the policies & getting contracts. Class II level appointments of Development Officers are made by the Divisional Office. The notification for the vacancies in the LIC is published in all the prominent national newspapers of India and in the Employment News. A competitive examination for the recruitment of Assistant Development Officers' in the Life Insurance Corporation is held once a year, generally in the month of September.
