Examinations conducted by CBSE

CBSE is not only conducting the Secondary school Public exams, but also conducts two more significant, national level entrance exams for admission purposes. The Board conducts the following examinations every year ordinarily commencing from the period indicated against each:

1. All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Examination (All India-PM/PD Test)

   This is the Entrance test conducted by the Board all over India basis for admission to 15% of the seats of MBBS/BDS degree courses offered in all the aided/unaided medical institutes of the states except Andhra Pradesh and J&K. This is a prestigious test of national importance conducted by the Board in two different levels as mentioned hereunder:
   • Preliminary Exam (April month every year)
   • Main Exam (May month every year)

2. All India Engineering / Pharmacy/ Architecture Entrance Examination (AIEEE)

   This is also a national level entrance test conducted by CBSE every year for getting admission to the Engineering and Pharmacy courses. AIEEE is conducted by CBSE every Year.

   The Chairman of CBSE Board may determine the dates, centers and time of such examinations conducted by CBSE every year.

3. IIT- JEE Advance

   This is also a national level entrance test conducted by CBSE every year for getting admission to the IIT.

   The Chairman of CBSE Board may determine the dates, centers and time of such examinations conducted by CBSE every year.
