Sant Longowal Institute set up Engineering and Technology (SLIET) is a National level institute set up by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India in Longowal, Punjab, India, which offers unique modular pattern of education in various branches of Engineering and Technology at certificate, Diploma, Degree program.
Entrance Test conducted for admission to Certificate, Diploma, Degree and PG Programs in Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology is termed as SLIET Entrance Test-I (SET-I), SLIET Entrance Test-II (SET-II), SLIET Entrance Test-III (SET-III) and SLIET Entrance Test-VI (SET-VI), respectively.
The separate Entrance Test for admission to Vertical Entry seats of Diploma Program and Degree Program for SLIET students shall be termed as SLIET Entrance Test-IV (SET-IV) and SLIET Entrance Test-V (SET-V), respectively and shall be conducted only for the SLIET students on a separate date (June 25, 2010).
Certificate Programs: 10th pass (with pass in Science, Mathematics and English) from a state Secondary Education Board / CBSE / ISCE or equivalent.
10+2 Pass (with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics) from recognized Board/University or equivalent or Certificate Holder of SLIET.
Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Technology in the concerned/allied branch or equivalent.
