Eligibility Criteria
- The candidates should be Indian Nationals and should satisfy local/non-local status requirements laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations of Admission) Order, 1974 as amended upto date (as per G.O.Ms.No. 25, dt: 19.03.2004 & G.O.Ms.No.108, Higher Education Department, dated 30-7-2005 and its amendments).
- The candidates other than Indian Nationals should satisfy the rules of the Universities concerned.
- A pass (or) appearance at the final year examinations of Bachelor’s Degree (Except BOL and BFA) of any University in Andhra Pradesh or any other University Recognized as equivalent thereto.
- The candidate seeking admission into MBA course should have passed a Bachelor’s Degree Examination of not less than three years duration from any recognized University or equivalent thereof besides passing SSC or equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
- The candidate seeking admission into MCA course should have passed a Bachelor’s Degree Examination of not less than three years duration in any discipline with Mathematics at 10+2 level (or) should have passed Bachelor’s Degree Examination of not less than 3 years duration in any discipline with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
- The candidates who are appearing for the final year degree examination shall also be eligible to appear for ICET-2010
- Admission into any college depends on its Recognition/Affiliation by the Statutory Bodies.
- Qualifying marks in ICET-2010 is 25% and no minimum marks are prescribed for SC/ST candidates.
Mere qualification in the entrance test does not entitle a candidate to have been admitted into MBA/MCA course unless the candidate:
- appears before the ‘on-line counseling’ at any of the Counseling Centres as notified
- applies in response to the admission notification issued by the authority concerned (for distance mode)
- satisfies all the eligibility conditions of admission stipulated by the authority concerne
Submission Of Application Forms
Duly filled-in application forms (placed in the envelope supplied) may be submitted along with relevant documents by paying postal charges through the Head Post Offices to The Convener, ICET-2010, Andhra University College of Engineering, Visakhapatnam – 530 003 (A.P.) India on or before 05-04-2010 upto 5.00 p.m. The application forms may also be submitted on or before
- 19-04-2010 upto 5.00 p.m. along with a late fee of Rs.500/-
- 24-04-2010 upto 5.00 p.m. along with a late fee of Rs.2000/-
in the form of DD drawn on any Nationalized Bank in favour of The Secretary, APSCHE, payable at Hyderabad. Application forms received after the specified date and time and incomplete application forms will be summarily rejected.
SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION ONLINE
Applications also can be submitted online. However, a copy of the application downloaded along with passport size photograph and D.D. drawn in favour of “The Secretary, APSCHE”, payable at Hyderabad is to be sent to the Convener, ICET-2010. Online Submission
- Please fill all the entries in the application form.
- After filling and submitting the form, entries will be displayed which should be filled/modified.
- After final submission you are not allowed to change the contents.
- Application number is given on the top left of the printed form.You need to quote this application number. for all your future correspondence.

- Print two copies of filled application form.
- Keep one copy with you for further communication.
- Send the second copy to the Convener, ICET-2010, A.U Engineering College campus, Visakhapatnam - 530 003 after signing, affix attested photograph and along with a DD for Rs 250/-
- Enclose, along with the filled application form, two self addressed envelops (9" X 4") after afixing a stamp of Rs 5/- each to send Hall Ticket and Rank Cards.
- Only after receiving your application with DD and necessary attachments, your application will be registerd by assigning a register number.

- The Convener, ICET-2010 reserves the right to reject the application of the candidate at any stage if : The application is incomplete,
- The hard copy of application is not signed and attested by a Gazetted Officer/Principal of a college/a University Professor and a DD of prescribed amount is not enclosed,
- The candidate fails to satisfy the eligibilty conditions,
- Any false or incorrect information is furnished,
- The hard copy of application is received after the laste date and time specified.
- Cost of application form is not refundable under any circumstances.
- Change in the entries of caste/community/status of category and examination centre in the application from will not be permitted once it is received at the officer of the convener.
- The passport size photograph on the online application form must be identical to the one fixed on hard copy submitted through post and should be taken on or after 1st January,2010.
- The original Hall Ticket will be sent only by post and will not be issued to the candidates in person. The Convener will not be held responsible for its non-receipt or postal delay of hall ticket.
