Indira Gandhi National Open University Openmat XXI - Admission To Management Programmes

The renowned Indian Open University, the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) invites applications for the admission of candidates through OPENMAT XXI Entance test for following Degree/Diploma programme in management:

Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Diploma in Management (DIM)
Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDIM)
Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management (PGDHRM)
Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management (PGDFM)
Post Graduate Diploma in Operations Management (PGDOM)
Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management (PGDMM)

All the above programmes have multi - media design, using technology aided delivery systems. These are offered through countrywide network of study centres. The University will be admitting the students for the above degree/diplomas in Management starting from July 2007 and 2008 through an entrance test 'OPENMANT - XXI' to be held on Sunday, the 04 th February, 2007 at nearly 120 centres all over the country.

Eligibility for Admission:

Bachelor's Degree +3 years Supervisory/ Management / Professional experience OR Degree in Engineering /Technology/Medicine/Architecture/Law, etc. OR Professional Qualifications in Accountancy, Cost & Works Accountancy, Company Secretaryship etc. OR Master's Degree in any Company Secretaryship etc. OR Master's Degree in any Company Secretaryship etc. OR Master's Degree in any subject. (The University may consider other degree in this list of equivalent professional degree/qualification, if required.)

Note: Non - Graduates with 6 years' Supervisory/ Management/ Professional experience* are eligible to apply for DIM only. The candidates who have completed 10+2 or its equivalent qualification may be treated as Non - Graduates.

Age:

There is no age bar for any of the Porgrammes

Application:

Application forms are available with the Regional Centres, whose addresses are given below. By sending a sum of Rs.550/- through a Demand Draft/IPO in favour of IGNOU payable at the city from where it is requisitioned by post, or by paying Rs.500/- in cash at the respective sale counters. Please write your name and address on the back of the DD/IPO. Last date for receipt of request for 'PROSPECTUS' by post is 14th November, 2006.

Aplications should be sent to the Registrar (SR&E), IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi - 110068, by Registered/Speed Post alongwith a DD/IPO for Rs. 550/- in favour of IGNOU, payable at New Delhi. Prospectus will be sent to such applicants after receipt of Rs.550/- as explained above.

Filled in form for Entrance Test 'OPENMAT - XXI' must reach. The Registrar (SR&E), IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi - 110068, by registered post/speed post on or before 30 th November, 2006 . Envelope containing Application forms must be superscribed "APPLICATION FOR OPENMANT - XXI"
