Master of Business Administration (MBA):

Eligibility: A pass in any bachelor degree (the degree must have been obtained under 10+2+3 pattern), a pass in the distance education entrance test (DEET) conducted by Anna university Chennai

MCA (Master of Computer Applications)
Eligibility: A pass in any bachelor’s degree (the degree must have been obtained under 10+2+3 pattern). The candidates should have studied Core Mathematics either at +2 level or Mathematics/ Statistics/Computer oriented subject as one of the subjects at the degree level and a pass in the distance education entrance test (DEET) conducted by Anna university Chennai

Master of Science (M.Sc) - Information Technology (4 semesters)
Eligibility: A pass in B.Sc (the degree must have been obtained under 10+2+3 pattern) (Mathematics/ Computer Science/Information Technology/Software Engineering/Electronics) or B.Sc (Physics/Statistics/ Chemistry) or B.Sc with Mathematics or Computer Science as allied subject or B.Sc applied sciences (Computer technology/ Information technology/Computer systems maintenance and networking) or BCA or B.E./B.Tech any branch and a pass in the distance education entrance test (DEET) conducted by Anna university Chennai

Application forms can be obtained in person from CDE (cost of application Rs 640/- by demand draft), by post from CDE (cost of application Rs 700/- by demand draft), by downloading (cost of application Rs 640/- by demand draft), in person at notified study centres outside Chennai (cost of application form Rs 650/- by cash) Completed applications should be sent to the director, centre for distance education, Anna university, Chennai-600025. Candidates submitting applications in person can get the Hall ticket on the same day

Demand draft should be drawn in favour of the director, centre for distance education, Anna university Chennai, Chennai-25, payable at Chennai and obtained from any nationalized bank on or after 16.05.2010

Candidates obtaining the application form from the centre for distance education can submit the same immediately if they bring two copies of passport size photograph and attested Xerox copies of required certificates and get the Hall ticket on the same day

Candidates responding to this advertisement and selected through the entrance test are eligible for admission in any one of the immediate two successive batches of admission (AY 2010-11 or CY 2010)

Study centers will be operated in Tamilnadu only where there is sufficient number of candidates. Candidates should send only one application. Candidates awaiting results of the qualifying examination may also apply for admission but they have to produce a copy of the relevant provisional/degree certificate at the time of admission

Dates specified are for academic year 2010-11 batch only. Otherwise application forms are sold throughout the year
