CSIR-UGC Test

Exam Date December 24, 2006

CSIR-UGC Test for Junior Research Fellowship and Eligibility for Lectureship Exams is conducted twice a year, one in June and the second in the month of December. The next CSIR-UGC Test is to be conducted on 24th December, 2006 in the following subjects:

  • 1. Chemical Sciences
  • 2. Earth, Atmospheric Ocean and Planetary Sciences
  • 3. Life Sciences
  • 4. Mathematical Sciences
  • 5. Physical Sciences
Eligibility
MSc or equivalent degree under the subjects mentioned above, with minimum of 55% marks for general and OBC candidates and 50% for SC / ST candidates, physically and visually handicapped candidates and PhD degree holders who have passed Master's degree prior to September, 19th of 1991.

Application
Application forms for CSIR-UGC Exams are available against Rs.400 (Rs. 200 for OBC, Rs.100 for SC / ST / PH / VH) from Syndicate Bank Branches.
