Reservation for OBC candidates would be applicable as and when Government Orders for the same are issued.
The JIPMER Medical 2017 Prospectus with the Application Forms can be obtained against only cash payment of Rs.750/- for Unreserved/Other Backward Classes Category (UR/OBC/P-UR/P-OBC)) and Rs.500/- for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe Category (SC/ST/P-SC) from State Bank of India, JIPMER Campus, Pondicherry-605006 on all working days up to 04th May, 2017,
JIPMER MBBS 2017 application can be submitted by an ONLINE process (Internet Based) by accessing the website www.jipmer.edu.in from 02/03/2017 to 04/05/2017. The candidates should first pay the non refundable fee of Rs. 750.00 (Unreserved and OBS) and Rs. 500.00 (SC/ST) by obtaining a demand draft as mentioned above.
The draft details are required while filling up the online form. Candidates are required to take a print out of the online application form with the number after the successful submission of data. The printed form with candidates signature, left fingers print, photograph endorsed by gazetted officer and the demand draft must be send by the speed post so as to reach the professor (Academic).

Candidates are required to take a print of a single on-line application form after successful submission of data. The printed Form with the requisite signatures, photograph, attestations, left thumb print of the applicant and the demand draft must be sent by speed post so as to reach the following addresses by 15th April, 2010.
Students who are Indian nationals, aged 17 years on or before 1st July and passed Higher Secondary Examination (+2) under 10+2+3 pattern with 50% marks in English and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together are eligible to appear in the Entrance Examination and try their merit.
JIPMER does not prescribe any syllabus for Entrance Examination. However, it is based on CBSE /Higher Secondary State board syllabus for 11th and 12th standard students.
The Entrance Examination will be of multiple choice type questions totaling 200 in the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. Each answer with correct response shall be awarded one mark. Zero Mark will be given for the question not answered. More than one answer indicated against a question, will be deemed as incorrect response and no mark will be given.
There is no NEGATIVE MARKING. The model of the question of the Entrance Examination is given in the Prospectus
